Should an R400 have a fingerprint reader?

Because mine doesn't and I find that strange?

I bought mine refurbished and it came with a fingerprint reader. I think it's an option like bluetooth capabilities. I use it and don't think about it much, overall it works well.

Fingerprint reader is an optional upgrade, like bluetooth, inbuilt camera, etc. Unless the laptop was ordered with the fingerprint reader from the factory, than no it won't have a fingerprint reader on it. But you can purchase a replacement palmrest with the fingerprint reader from places like ebay.
