Hi guys,
Yesterday my battery charger slip through my hands and drop from a heigh of about 1 meter. Is there any risk at short term that my laptop will be damaged due to a overdose of energy from my battery charger or anything else? when i close my ear to the battery charger i just notice that it sounds like a fan inside the charger and as i plug the charger into my laptop the led indicator flash for a few seconds (i could not say that such a sound or flicker was there before my battery droped).
Thank in advance.

I hear some white noise from inside the charger if I hold my ear right up to it... at first I thought it might be the same effect as when you hold a conch shell to your ear, but it went away about 10 sec after unplugging the charger.

I also am pretty sure I get a couple of blinks when connecting the power supply. Docked right now, so can't easily test.

If the case of the charger is cracked, you should probably see about getting a replacement and relegating this one to use as a backup. More for your safety than the computer's. The main risk would be if things in the charger cracked/shifted so as to cause a short circuit or something that would overheat. I think it's most likely that damage will cause no power rather than too much power.
