W520 + docking station to drive two external monitors?

#1 Post by stodge » Thu Mar 01, 2012 9:33 pm

A quick question about using the W520 with a docking station. I'm currently researching laptops for work to replace my existing W520, and one feature I'd like to try to get is the ability to use a docking station to drive two external monitors. Is this possible with the W520? The laptop will primarily run Fedora Linux. Thanks

I'm doing so right now under Windows 7; I would imagine that if the Fedora driver supports three monitors, it ought to see the hardware. (If you need and no one offers a better answer, I guess I could try the Fedora live USB... but I'm a little short on time until late April.)
