Does anyone know which version for ExpressCard/34 /54 is built into a W701 model 4323-CTO ?

Verified feedback is appreciated.

So far Lenovo has not been able to answer this question!!
I hope someone here will, Thanks.

PS: There are a few threads in various forums that contemplate about the performance of the ExpressCard slots.

Expresscard is basically a way to plug an external card into your laptop's internal PCI-Express (i.e. PCIe) bus. The W701 uses Intel's QM57 chipset, which provides PCIe 2.0, and therefore the W701 supports Expresscard 2.0. And, as I said in the thread you link to:

"ExpressCard 2.0 should have the same transfer rate limits as a PCIe 2.0 mini-card slot of 250 MB/sec (250 MB/sec for input, and 250 MB/sec for output, which is often stated as a total limit of 500 MB/sec). But note that some expresscards that you buy to plug into your expresscard slot use the slower USB 2.0 interface available within the expresscard connector, instead of using PCIe, so they're instead constrained by the USB 2.0 transfer-rate limit of 60 MB/sec"

Good luck!

Thank you very much.
Now it's clear to me that the model W701 is using Expresscard v2.0.
