Has anybody taken a msata ssd drive, and RAID0 it with a conventional drive in the HDD bay?
I recognize that the msata units are on SATA2, and the newer SSDs that would fit in the HDD bay are SATA3.
I was considering mating up:
OCZ Nocti Series NOC-MSATA-120G mSATA 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

with a:
Intel 520 Series Cherryville SSDSC2CW120A310 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - OEM

Q:s
Is this a smart way to go?
Will that work ok?
Is it just better to use the ultrabay HD carrier with a matched drive?
Is having RAID0 on two SSD's overkill, when 1 SSD will do?
Has the Intel RAID0 Trim update hit the streets?
BTW I did do the RAID option on the build, tried to just get the option without the drives, but NO SOUP FOR ME... MUST ORDER THE EXTRA DRIVE>>>>
Thanks for a great forum!
