W520 / W530 Desktop System

Hello:
If I don't care about the keyboard change, is there any compelling reason to chose the 530 over the 520 or 510 as a desktop system? I think the backlit KB on the 530 would be nice, but certainly not a major consideration.
There are several decent refub 520s in the Oulet store for about $900. With the current coupon sale I can get a similar 530 for about $1250-$1300. There are a few new 510s in the Outlet store.
Will be docked 95% of the time running iTunes / Media Player, raw photo processing, some DVD ripping, & basic office stuff. Still have my T60p for travel.
Not really looking for best price; just don't want to waste money.
Sound is important to me. I read that the 530 has much better internal sound, but I will be using external Bose speakers. External 1600 x 1200 monitor.
Thank
