Slow POST and bootup. Looks as if there is 2 OS installed?

hi everyone.

Ok I just got my w700 off ebay and the bootup process is excruciatingly slow. Seems abit slow for HDD-based and definitely not raid0.



When I checked the HDDs, it seems there are 2 OS installed?

Might be that or a bunch of other reasons. Whenever I pick up a new or used machine I like to do my own fresh install after using Parted Magic to "low" level erase the HDD. That way I'm assured of not getting bloatware or any other unwanted stuff from the previous owner. The exception to this is if I know and trust who the seller is. I'm also a fan of a fresh clean install and I'm a geek so I enjoy doing this stuff.

The drive speed are not far off from a 7200 rpm drive but no where near a SSD or RAID setup. Newer HDDs are slightly faster than what you have now.
