Is it possible setup 3 disks? Primary is mSata SSD, secondary replacing 500Gb HDD to SSD and third replacing DVD drive bay with HDD or SSD?
Does it works?

Considering Lenovo advertises that it has a msata connector, a main sata connector, and an optional drive in the optional adapter, one could only assume that it is posible.

Note that RAID is only available if you buy the system with it. You can't just add a drive later and activate RAID.

Yes you can.

On top of that you can add a drive using eSata, you can add a SDHC card, you can add numerous USB drives, you can add an Expresscard with eSata ports (and attached drives), and you can add a drive using firewire.

If only looking at Sata you can get to 6 drives total when using the Expresscard slot for a 2 port (e)Sata card.

Keep in mind that the mSata connector is not SATA-600, so if you're after the highest 1MB sequential read scores...

Unless you are going to be putting in a 128gb msata, sata2 is by far good enough. They are intended for cache memory, afterall.

Eh no...

It's just a smaller formfactor. Crucial sells the M4's also with mSata. I have the 256GB one, and it works perfect. Documents on the HDD, Programs on the SSD.

By programs, you'd benifit the most by putting windows on the SSD.. But it all depends how much you want to spend on an SSD. 64GB is very marginal for a boot drive, and anything less is near impossible to put windows on. I'd understand if you wanted to put programs on a 4-16gb ssd, though

By 'programs' I mean Windows itself, Office, SolidWorks, etc. etc. etc.
