W520 Win7 often crashes when lid closed

Hello,
i got a W520 and instantly bought a Samsung 840pro256 to replace
the 500gb drive.
I made a "clean" install with Thinkpad's recovery disks (so no mirroring).
When it is connected to AC and I close the lid, it is often shut down when I open it
a few hours later. When it got unplugged, its no problem.
Ernergymanager is the same plugged and unplugged.
I thought it is a firmware problem so I installed the newest FW of the SSD and made a
BIOS-update, but no effect. When I reopen the lid and start it with the button,
I can select if I want to start Windows normal or Safemode etc. Just like after a bluescreen or somewhat.
So I thought I threw out a few hundreads and cloned the SSD back to the normal HDD.
After testing it unplugged over the night, everything seemd ok. When I plugged it in at work and
closed the lid for a 2 hour break, I came back and Windows crashed.
SSD boots very quick - but I have to login at every website when I start the pc again.
Long story short - lid closed when AC-plugged - Win7 crash
The 'pad just should sleep when I close it. You know whats false?
