Daily BSODs on a new pre-owned W520.

Already ran a memory diagnostic that came up clean. The Win7 Pro 64-bit install, straight from freshly ordered Lenovo factory recovery discs, is not two weeks old. I'm averaging about 3 BSODs per day.

Belearc Advisor Scan
BSOD List

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Have you tried googling it: https://www.google.com/search?q=w520+pr ... oblem+bsod
And looked whether any of the set ups/solutions might apply to your system?

Thanks for your reply, basketb.

I poked around, but I trust this site's membership more than Lenovo or any random fora. That said, I'm seeing here something about Link Power Management not being well supported by SSDs. Being generally unwilling to modify registry entries for a problem not specifically pertaining to my specific hardware or software configuration, I once again defer to the thinkpads.com Support Community for assistance. Do these BSOD entries correspond to this LPM+SSD issue, or is my machine suffering from something else entirely?

These BSODs indicate a problem that happens while driver code is executing - DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, etc.

This can mean a buggy driver or a faulty piece of hardware.

My suggestion would be to disable all non-essential hardware, such as network devices and other peripherals, one item at a time and checking if the problem goes away. Once you pinpoint the responsible device - you can consider the next steps.
