W700 Quadro FX2800 possibilities

Hello, I'm new to this forum and have a question about my W700 (2758). It was supplied with a Quadro FX3700 graphics card, but that appears to have stopped working properly - the boot screen is corrupted and drivers won't work despite fresh Win7 install. "windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)."

So I'm considering replacing the graphics card.

I can find a used FX2800M on ebay for not much money:

However, even though I have trawled through google for a few hours, I have no idea if this will work?

The fx2800m from the W701 won't work in a W700.

You are limited to using the fx2700m (512Mb Memory) or fx3700m (1Gb).

After the fx3700m in my W700 died I got a replacement that was pulled from a HP 8730w. I works fine but from what I read it won't support the second screen on a W700ds.
