My W510 keeps updating the FX880M video drivers and afterwards, the fonts become so small, they're barely readable.
Before the "upgrade", there was absolutely no problem reading the screen. I have tried to re-install the original drivers to no avail...changing the font display "dpi" doesn't seem to work, either. Lenovo support doesn't seem to know what to do. Help! It's nearly impossible to get anything done any longer.

Then disable auto updates.
You mean you used to have some custom setting to make everything bigger?
Did you pull that older driver from the Lenovo website?

The first thing I did was to disable auto-updates...the "older" driver seems to have been pulled off the support page. Support rep was also out of ideas. The display resolutions settings in the windows control panel are ineffective (100 %, 125% are obviously too small; the setting is currently 150%--still too small. I tried a custom setting of 200% but then the browser pages widen out so that the display bar has to be adjusted to see the rest of the page. It's maddening and the only sure fire way that I know of is to do a complete re-install; which is mostly out of the question. Even system restore doesn't help! Any other suggestions to help with this issue?

Can you post a screenshot? I have that set to 100% (meaning; never changed it) on a W520 with 1920x1080 and I'm fine with text size.
