W520 resumes from sleep by unplugging headphones

Whenever my W520 is standby it will wake up when I unplug my headphones. There are no devices with permission to wake the system. Meaning the commandprompt command powercfg -devicequery wake_armed returns no results.

It irritates me a lot. I travel a lot by train and bus, and whenever exiting I put my system to sleep and unplug my headphones. Whenever I do the latter just a bit too late... the system will resume again.

Is there any way to change this?

And while we're at it: I have set it to not go to sleep when I close the lid. Can I also have it not resume when I open the lid?

Not sure about the headphones, but:

If you set the "close lid" to do nothing, it is supposed to affect both sleep and resume. But apparently there is a bug somewhere in the power management flow, that causes it sometimes to wake up upon lid open. This is what I experienced with my X220, and so far, found no fix.

Yes, sometimes indeed.

Good to know I'm not the only one.
