Most any brand, except Kingspec and the Samsung 840 EVO. The Samsung 840 Pro (and other Samsung models) are fine.
Look for SLC (rare, expensive) and MLC (most current ones), but avoid TLC drives for now.

I'd buy the least expensive in whatever size you want from a reputable brand.

I'd stay away from newer (post-830) Samsung drives, way too many people have reported compatibility issues when it comes to ThinkPads.
No SandForce-based drives either. Ever.
If you want an inexpensive drive, Crucial MX-100 seems like a decent choice.

I would be cautious of Adata drives...
I bought two used, one failed within 10 days, the other non-premium model might be dying after 8 months of use.
I got a patriot pyro SE going strong for about two years.
