Guys, I have brand new Mushkin Atlas mSATA 240GB, I've checked the drive with chkdsk, long formatted it, all is good.

PROBLEM: When I install Windows 7, with all other drives removed, and just one memory stick, and BIOS settings are for Legacy Only and boot manager disable, I can't install Windows 7. Installation gives me, can't install system rebooted unexpectedly. There is a BSOD, I haven't catch it yet. I don't know what to do. I've tried everything. Plz help me.

A few things you may want to try. Do you have an external CD/DVD USB drive? Your optical drive on your thinkpad may be bad. With SSD you only want to do quick formats or Secure Erase on SSD drives. Reformat your drive doing only a quick format.

I will try to think of other solutions.

BIOS on some ThinkPads absolutely despises SSDs based on SandForce controllers. I'd tend to believe that the issue you're describing originates there.

Get rid of Mushkin - yesterday - and get a drive that sports a different controller. If you put any value on your data, that is...

Good luck.

I think I've read about some problems with some SSDs on W520, so I would try a different one :?

When buying memory, go for the top brands (Samsung, Micron/Crucial, Intel,...) ...basically anything that is used by notebook manufacturers.
