W520 charging issue. Is this okay?

The battery indicator light keeps blinking like that. Is that normal?

That LED behavior means the battery is 20%-80% full and charging.
What does power manager say regarding full capacity, remaining capacity, and charge amps/volts? Depending what you see it may be a good idea to do a battery gauge reset.

Aah, didn't know that.
Unfortunately, I am in no position to check the power manager. Having issues booting the machine up. Please go through this thread to know the details:
