W520 : Fn+F4 sleep shortcut issue

Hello, i already uninstalled/reinstalled "hotkey feature" but the issue persist : when i press Fn+F4, the unit act like it's going to sleep (turn off screen..) but then wakes it again, or just stay like that until i press a key..! What could cause this?

In my experience, most of the sleep-related issues are caused by video driver. Try updating yours and see whether that gets you anywhere.

No need to uninstall Hotkeys, they are quite useful for a lot of stuff and that utility has no bearing on the problem that you're experiencing.

Actually, Fn + media key (stop, play, etc..) stopped working too! I'll try update video driver.

Updating video driver didn't solve the issue The media keys seems to work after boot, perhaps it's after sleep that it's loosing it.. I'm out of ideas (since i reinstalled hotkeys few times already).. On google you can find several threads about this is issue, but no fix..? :/

No other ideas, people?! Reinstalling windows & all take up time, i'd like to avoid it for such little (fixable i guess) thing
