Can you swap the WIFI NIC from a W520 for one of the T430?

So, taking out from W520, putting in the one from T430. Can that be done?

It depends on the part number of the wifi card, but most likely yes.

Even if it didn't work, it may just require a BIOS mod.

Thanks! So at worse it won't work, but I shouldn't fry either the NIC or the motherboard, correct?
Voltage is the same for all NIC?

Worst case scenario is that it displays an error message asking you to remove the wireless card, like this:

1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the miniPCI network card.
