The Best Most Compatable internal AC Wifi chip/card and external AC Wifi for Lenovo W520

New here seeking the best internal and external usb wifi model for older W520 lenovo. Currently i have internal 6300 which was the best at the time. Lenovo hasnt made a compatable internal ac wifi chip for older models. Thanks for your help.

I have a W510 with the with the 6300; my son has a W520 with a 6205; and other son has a W530 with a 6300. All three machines work great on our home wifi. I don't have a clue what the best upgrade would be.
Looks to me you have posted your question in the wrong sub-forum, i.e. Thinkpad X6x Series.
Try posting in ThinkPad W500/510/520 and W7x0 Series, and you may get some replies.
