How to setup for Wake On LAN

I have just got this W520 abd tries to set it up fotr Wake On LAN by a Magic Pack.
It will not wake up !
Some ideas or maybe even a check list ?

Wake-on-LAN should work if it is enabled properly and the packet sent correctly. I would suggest reading this article:

and if you still cannot get it to work, then come back and we will see what we can do. To keep things simple, I would first try using a hard-wired ethernet connection instead of trying to do this over wireless (WiFi) and see if it works there. If it does,
then try wireless.
