Advanced Mini Dock 2504 No Display

I am having difficulty with my 2504 dock. I hooked it up and connected it to my monitor but no picture or anything. The mouse keyboard and everything else works fine. On the display setting when I press detect nothing happens. I am wondering if I am missing the driver and if so where can I get it? I know Lenovo doesn't carry drivers for this model anymore.

You don't need drivers for the mini-dock. It's extremely unlikely that the problem is in the mini-dock, but everything is possible. More likely, though, is that the computer is not configured properly.

Let's start with answering some basic questions:

1. Which computer is on the mini-dock?
2. Which operating system is installed on the computer?
3. Which monitor is connected and through which of the ports? (the mini-dock has DVI and VGA)
