I'm a thinkpad addict.
To be frank, it's the keyboard the sole motive I love them.
Of course I also appreciate the reliability, got two lenovos with +13 years daily use still perfect. (Of course updated with ssd and more RAM)

1) thinkpad T60
2) lenovo 3000 n200

Now I'm afraid that one day or another they could leave me and I'm looking for replacement.

But as I said my main requirement is the old good thinkpad keyboard.
And as you all know the last thinkpad without creepy keyaboard is the 420/520 series.

So I've bought a used W520 i7 8gb 240gb/ssd 2.2ghz

I'm wondering if I can actually perceive the difference btw this model and my previous twos.

Is there any website where I can compare all of them

Have any of you used two of them ?

There are people here who know a lot more about this than I do, but I recall threads that discussed three different keyboard manufacturers for a single model, each with a different feel.

So I suspect that it is possible that you will detect differences between the keyboards.

well, first, welcome to the forum..
next, if you like OLD thinkpads you might want to watch the marketplace here or ebay when forum member hwattys starts to sell off my collection of antique thinkpads..
steve showed up here and loaded at least 20 of them to take home and rework and will be selling them to those who appreciate an antique thinkpad..
including a 755CDV and a special S30 demo with US keyboard..
most all of these predate the lenovo acquisition of the IBM PC division..
