w520 Wont Boot after changing IA Current Limit to 1 (instead of 0)

#1 Post by muffie » Thu Feb 20, 2020 5:46 pm

Dear All, I have a patched BIOS 1.4 for my w520.
After trying to find information about the unlocked bios (nothing) i decided to try to change some values. I think I have changed CPU voltage limit to just 1 x 1/8 v = which should be 0.125v, for sure not enough to even power it on... :|
Anyway, I have already disconnected CMOS battery for > 15 hours (w520 seems to be located below the power button, close to the msata port and tried to turn it on without battery and power cable.
NOTHING.
Can someone PLEASE help me!? :||
