W540 - Flooded keyboard

Hello

I spilled a small amount of sprite on the left side of my keyboard. I turned the laptop over, liquid dripped out. After about an hour, I turned off the computer.
After turning it back on, the keyboard didn't work. I took the keyboard out and dried it with a compressor. It still does not work.
Can I help her somehow?

In the commercial for thinkpads, they pour water on the keypads and everything is ok

The keyboard took the fallout. The rest of the laptop is hopefully OK.

Soda is sugary. Commercials probably use distilled water, that's less likely to hurt anything....

Is it a good idea to rinse the keyboard with for example: alcohol or distilled water ??
