What exactly does all this mean

Did UPS drop the ball or was it Lenovo? This is my current tracking on my W500:

Blame the government.

It looks like a routine customs paperwork issue. Someone will fax the right form and it will get delivered soon. Probably tomorrow.

Looking at the same thing in notes today over at NBR, I'd say some paperwork got left off a pallet or ten in a shipment, and they'll get it straightened out shortly.

Thanks all, it is now in Jacksonville and soon to be delivered to my office.

It still amazes me as much as Lenovo uses UPS that this could happen. I kinda wonder if Lenovo left the amount off the paperwork to avoid duties or taxes.

What is most important is that it will be here today! It did ship way sooner than they said at time of order as it was not surposed to ship until 9-24.

I really don't think much happened. These are UPS's routine descriptions for foreign shipments from what I have seen.

I am sure you will enjoy your new ThinkPad.
