Hi all. Have 205560u and 406225u W500. When we ordered them we asked to have them able to drive 2 external wide monitors plus the 1920x1200 internal thinkpad one. I was told a docking station with a video card in it would do the trick. We asked a lenovo rep and got that combo. Vista 64 OS. It has the switchable graphics ATI (discrete) and Intel (built in ). Got everything and tried to install card no luck. Found out that the card they sold me was NVidia and that it and ATI don't play well together. Switched to ATI video in the dock and found that not to work either. Now I am hearing there is a USB MVD device that will do this. Has anyone been able to drive 2 externals & thinkpad in the W500 w VB64? please advise.

I have no idea what that could mean. I use my W500 with both the Advanced Dock and the Advanced Mini Dock on monitors.

however i am not sure of their status, the list their only partner
www.colorgraphic.net their page says after 20 years they are closing their doors.
Anyone got any other ideas? If the dock & card combo doesn't work on new systems with switchable graphics and on the full dock page does not show support for new models what can one do ?
