Can't find driver for Bluetooth Peripheral Device?

On a new W500 with Windows Vista, turning on the Bluetooth wireless kicks off a mad search for device drivers.
The first time, no drivers were found, so I downloaded the Enhanced Data Rate Bluetooth drivers from Lenovo, installed them, and rebooted.
This time, it found and installed drivers for a number of Bluetooth related devices, except three devices called "Bluetooth Peripheral Device".
I tried running the Broadcom installer, but it claims there is no Bluetooth device installed.
Bluetooth actually works - I can pair with a Nokia phone and download photos from it.
What are the "Bluetooth Peripheral Devices" and where can I find the drivers for them? For now, I've left them disabled, since things seem to work fine without them.
