W700 raid question

I was wondering, is it possible to convert a raid 0 to a raid 1 without formatting the hd
T61P 6459-CTO
T7500 CPU
8GIG RAM
64 Crucial SSD drive
Nvidia FX570

W700 2758-29U
Intel X9100 Extreme CPU
4GIG Memory
250X2 HD in Raid 0
Nvidia 3700FX 1GIG Memory

I know you can use acronis or ghost to go from a raid to a regular drive, i did that. i believe raid has a different layout on the drive and for that reason you may not be able to just change. have you made your recovery cds/DVDs? maybe an option on there.
