Actually, on Win 7 Aero provides a feature of window previews, which together with the 3Dflip and desktop manager is very useful IMO if one works with lots of windows.

I guess you're right, it does that on Vista too. I just never considered it practical. ;)

I agree the one in Vista is pretty useless. I always had it disabled. But in Win 7 I use it with the new taskbar with combine feature and aero pick and I found it very productive :) I guess fancy toys for big kids :D
