W700 W Vista64 patched win and thinkpad network wired issue

after a resume the wired card never comes up unless i disable/enable it. access connections seems very slow to connect even to just wireless. any ideas? i turned off power mgt on the wired card

update: this works all the time. also odd i noticed that if i do nothing wireless always connects but it does so before access connections does, so windows might be messing it up, is there a way to have windows NOT do the networking and let access connections do it. i like that ac turns off the wireless but this is getting cumbersome
