Problems with wwan

Hi i have a problem with wwan on my w500. Sometimes it seems like it's not recognized my windows and doesn't show up in access connections. I have tried upgrading every thing, doing factory recovery and i have replaced the wwan card with a new one. Is there something i can do to fix this?

Is this normal or is there something wrong with my computer?

BTW the card is a Ericsson F3507g, i have googled and found other people having problems, but it seems like no one is having the same problem as me.

An update, i have installed ubuntu a couple of weeks ago and have noticed the same problem in ubuntu two times. I would think what this rules out software as being the problem, am i right about that? The reason i want to know, is that i was told if i send my laptop to lenovo and it is an software error i'm going to pay a fee up to 250 dollars.
