W500 with backlit LED?

Hi, I went into Harris Technology (store in Australia) and specifically asked for a Thinkpad with Backlit LED. The man told me that one is available in the W500 series. The specific config is:
W500 4062 - Core Duo T9900 / 3.06 GHz, 4GB RAM, 500 GB HDD.
I asked him several times to confirm the backlit panel availability on the W500 and he said yes. The printed spec sheet that I got from him makes no mention of this. Only thing it says is 15.4" TFT 1920 x 1200 WUXGA. I guess he doesn't know what he is talking about?
I'm getting a bit tired of lenovo not making nice crisp screens available on their high end laptops. The Dell E6500 Latitude has an amazing bright 15.4" 1920 x 1200 WUXGA panel. Previously purchased a T61p and it was likened to viewing a CAM version of a movie. I just had to get rid of it. I've been trying to find any news on the upcoming W510, but there is only a lot of here-say as to whether it will have backlit panels or not. Anyone can confirm this?
Cheers,
V
