Get W500 NOW or wait for W510?

As the title says, get it now or wait?

Pros and cons that I see are W510 has i7 Calpella, not too sure about the nvidia FX880 though, but it has a freaking 16:9 screen.
The W500 has a 16:10 screen at least, but a Core 2 Duo.
For consolation, I should be able to get a 500 a lot cheaper once the 510 is out.
I'm still on the fence.
What do you all think?

I would wait. It's only a matter of a few weeks and then you can do a reasonable price/feature comparison. In fact I'd wait until others buy the 510 to see if it has any bad habits ...

>Amazin Speeds with factory settings (nope no benchmarks!! all the bloatware still installed)
> Great Display - True 1080p is fantastic -(dissapoited to say this! as nothing in lenovo compares!)
>BD writer with DUAL DISK SLOTS (raid and all factory installed!!!)
>factory 8GB RAM - with 1333 FSB installed
>!333Mhtz BUS. Speed built in ( will be testin feature in a MAJOR WAY!!)

CONS::
>Windows Prof only > but atleast its x 64 (so easy upgrade to Ultimate x64)
>NO SSD options as of yet on this model!!
>lots of non use software included for Business setup> however this model is MAINLY TARGETED at high end GAMERS & HOME USERS!!!

MY only hope (wish - opps Xmass is gone already!!) that Lenovo offer a Workstations Series with DUAL DRIVE PLUS DVD/BD slot. This extra slot can be used to 2nd BATTERY - on long flights (but then there is always ACDC wires)useable on my often long flights!!

HAPPY New Year everyone ! :banana:
