W500 will not go to "Sleep"

#1 Post by sorapp » Thu Jan 21, 2010 10:19 pm

I believe I have set everything correctly, 30 minutes when on AC power, but my W500 will not automaticlly go to "Sleep" when left unused. It goes to screen saver, but that is as far as it goes. I can manually put it to "Sleep" and it "Sleeps" when I close the cover. I am using only the Winodws power settings, Thinkvantage Power Manager is not installed. I need to leave it on because I have time triggered tasks. Anyone have any suggestions?

W500 that we use all go to sleep.... as setup commands it.

>Maybe update via "system update" and maybe also install TV Power Manager as my W500 ...i have heaps of 'scheduled' things on mine and it 'wakes and sleeps' as requested.....
