Fn+F? keystrokes to dim/turnoff display?

Simple question, couldn't find an answer anywhere(!):

On my old Z61p and other Thinkpads I've used, pressing Fn+F3 will turn off the display, but keep the laptop running.

I just bought a W700, and although the F3 key has a similar looking battery icon on it, when I try this combo, instead of dimming the display, up pops some sort of 'Power Use' window.

So, what am I missing here? Function moved, replaced, programmable in some other way? I don't care what the keystroke combo is, but would sure like to know it(!)

When running longer type jobs, or just leaving my laptop on the desk overnight, I often just turn off the display, so I'd like to be able to do that on the new-to-me W700.

Thanks...

when you pull up the menu, on the bottom, there should be an option to "power off display", which is the same as the origional function.

If you want the plain keystroke back, open power manager, select advanced, and there should be an option to choose what Fn+F3 does. You can tell it to just turn off the display.
