I want to replace the standard ram that came with the W510 with 2 of this:
Corsair CMSO4GX3M2A1333C9 4GB 2X2GB DDR3-1333 CL9-9-9-24 204PIN SODIMM Memory Kit
will this work ok and is it worth the $250 (with tax) for the upgrade to 8GB of DDR3?
memory for W510-will this work?

Giday Mueller....
I/we have 3 newer T410s (2901CTO) with that memory ( 2 x4gb) for last month and hlaf ,,, and not porblems reported .... most of these laptops are under very havy USE!!!
So am sure the 510 should work nicely .....
Hope this helps
Cheers

Re: memory for W510-will this work?
I ended up buying 2 2x2GB Corsair (CMS02GX3M1A1333C9) memory kits.
One of the kits was bad (failed memtest86+ right away). So have to RMA them back.
8GB of total ram should be good enough for me. I couldn't justify spending $800 on 2 4GB 1333 modules.
Guess I should of bought Kingston.
