I used my win 7 x86 ultimate key to upgrade my w510's win 7 x64 pro to ultimate ,very happy about that, now I can use any language menu even Arab if I can understand. I didn't expect my x86 key working on x64 ,haha.

That was the case with Vista, too. There is no need for a new license when upgrading from x86 to x64 or vice versa as long as it stays the same edition (i.e. Home, Pro, Business, Ultimate etc.).
