New W700 Issue Screen won't come back on after closing the..

lid.

Ran out of space in the subject.

As of a few days ago I started getting the occasional frozen mouse, which I haven't had since windows 98. This forces a restart.
This is happening on the X60 Tablet (XP in use on a 2nd HD) and the W700ds using main SSD drive.

The W700ds is also having this issue where I close the lid or F4 (sleep), and when I try to get back on the screen stays black. I'm not sure if the backlight is not coming on, or if the computer is toast. I force a restart and all seems well. I've made a habbit of closing the lid when walking from the living room to the bedroom. Never had this problem before.

Any ideas?

Does it happen with all power schemes? You could also check about any recently done updates (both Windows and Lenovo) as well as any settings in nVidia control center that might be causing the problem. I have had this happen with my laptop once or twice with too many peripherals attached and a HDD in the ultrabay or with some application that required full screen, but I don´t remember any details as it was long time ago.
