Please help chossing between HD+ and FHD ?
hi guys
please help me really hesitated , i tell you what i use the laptop for , the most thing that i will do is creating virtual machines (thats why iwant a power horse machine ) ,reading text and doing configuration ,watching videos but not high resolution videos , surfing the web and reading text also , and for the games i play only GTA and FIFA that just for fun but when i play i'd love to get excellent and smooth performance and also very good quality .
that what i will do with the W510 so please advice me which screen will be the best choice for me HD+ or FHD ? putting in consideration that the difference between both will deserve the 200$ cost ? but its ok for me if the FHD is best choice i go for it and if the HD+ is a good choice and the FHD will not make the difference i go for it .
thank you guys waiting your advices

What screen size are you looking at? FHD uses a higher resolution than HD, so I would not recommend FHD on a smaller screen(14-16"). Smaller than 17", go for HD. Larger, go for FHD. Either way it will look great. This thread has some good information about HD and FHD.

Well, the brightness depends on the screen itself, not the type of screen. But that would be the best screen for your size and what you want to do with it.

I have FHD (more than FHD) on several machines.
17" Dell Inspiron 9300 WUXGA 1920 x 1200
15.4" Dell Inspiron 6000 WUXGA 1920 x 1200
newly ordered...
15.x" Thinkpad W510 FHD 1920 x 1080
If you are a hig res computing freak... go for it. Is FHD still available as an option for T / W series on the Lenovo site?
