W510 screen is dimmed after startup
W510 screen is dimmed after startup
Yesterday I accidentially shut my lid while reaching behind my TP to get something. Since then, now whenever I boot my TP it comes up fine but the screen is way dim. I have to manually do a FN- Home key to bring my screen brightness back up. What gives?
Re: W510 screen is dimmed after startup
Go into Power Manager and under power plan, and under your current profile, there is a section for system settings, and display brightness. Move the slider all the way to the right under the AC settings.

Many thanks, yes, it showed as dimmed all the way in there.
