W510 and MINIDOCK

I am thinking of buying a W510 but I am not sure if my current ThinkPad Advanced Mini Dock 250410U is compatible with the W510 (I bought it for my current T61 which I am replacing hopefully with the W510).

I tried looking around the site but either I am looking in the wrong place or I am having a senior moment and can't find anything.

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Thanks! That helped....but that menas I need to but a new docking station for the W510 (I guess I waited too long...the W500 would have worked on my current docking station).

if you look at the list of 'thinkpads'; from the HCL - I seem to remmber that the T500
would fit your CURRENT dock (pls double check as am too lazy to go back and read it)
Last time I was @ Lenovo Outlet Store http://outlet.lenovo.com/
I saw a nice T500 at nearly 1/3 the price - It might be usefull if you want to save that mini dock!

Personally I kinda struggled with similar issues with my older T6x and T4x with DOCKS ,,
and I ended up with TWO brand new models (sl510 with hdmi+ & T410s with FHDetc)
NOW I can more things without the BULKY DOCKS ,,,, and have nice clean simple connectivity to even a HD TV via built in HDMI and play / share Blue Ray movies(and files) directly from my laptop(s).

The MiniDock you're looking for is the 2504-20U for your W510.
It's the MiniDock Series 3.
