Hi everyone;
Wondering if anyone out there has a TP W51x (or any T51x) series with these 'newer' 1333FSB ? (i7-920XM Processor). I would like to get in touch with some 'Tricks/tips; Setup & Experiances' exchange etc
I / We have 4 machines which have very different 'performace's'....even though they all ordered in a BATCH with EXECT SAME configurations from factory!
- i7-920XM Processor
- 16 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz SODIMM Memory(factory installed)
- 2 x 128 GB Solid State Drive, Serial ATA (factory installed)
These newer 4 machines are replacing the now 'older' - i7-820QM Processor ; yet the newer machines seems "SLOwER"....
- i7-820QM Processor
- 16 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz SODIMM Memory(factory installed)
- 2 x 128 GB Solid State Drive, Serial ATA (factory installed)
Some of the things that I am instrested in the 'grunt'/"processor power' in doing 'DB' searches etc
(pure numbers crunching point of view) and not care to discuss about wireless, HD benchmarkings; video card performances ... etc etc as most all of our machines DONT HAVE ANY WIRLESS nor COLOUR SENSOR etc ..The BDs we are working is mostly 1.4+billion Rows -DB2 & few other 100M+in ORC
Thanks in advance
