#1 Post by mdclow » Tue Nov 23, 2010 9:50 pm

Any speculation of USB3 on future T510 machines?

I think they're unlikely to make a change now since the new platform will be out next year.

The new platform is Sandy Bridge. Read up if you like. The rumor is Intel chipsets won't get USB 3.0 support until 2012. If Lenovo wants to add it, they have to put a USB 3.0 chip on the motherboard, like with the W510. Though I don't know if anything is official as of yet.
