How to turn off Raid on a W700 ?

I may end up with a W700 with Raid configured. I'd want to turn the raid off. So, is there anything I need to do/know other than turning raid off in the bios and replacing(or reformatting) drives?
Thought I'd just flip it off in the bios and then shove in one of my own drives that'll drive a W700. However, I don't have any experience w/raid and would rather not crater a new-to-me W700
