My guess would the Crucial scores a bit better in the benchmarks, but the difference is probably nil in real world usage. Your W510 is a SATA II machine and can't do SATA III speeds anyway.
If it were me I'd pick up a cheap Vertex/Agility 2 like a 40GB/60GB then get a big 5400RPM hard drive for the ultrabay, which can be used for storage. I think I paid $85 after rebate for the 40GB Agility 2 I use in my desktop. It's a solid performer and OCZ has the best support forums. It's probably not as reliable as the Intel, but much less expensive.

Get the Crucial C300 RealSSD and you won't regret. It's been ranked the best in the market. I have tried many, sold all, and finally been living happily with the 256GB version of the C300. My Windows Experience Index score for Disk Data Transfer Rate is 7.7!

Either of the above(Crucial/Vertex) would probably do just fine. Any upgrade to SSD is gonna make your laptop run much, much faster for vanilla/typical work. Only time you -might- be at a disadvantage is if you have an app that does continuous long term write I/O type stuff. Not likely for most people.
