W510 and Internal Blu-Ray Writer?

Does anyone know the best/cheapest way to upgrade a W510 ThinkPad with an internal Blu-Ray drive (preferably one that supports writing)?
[I've converted over the home TV, etc. to Blu-ray, so I have a fair number, plus Netflix, so I'm not looking for a don't need Blu-Ray type of discussion]
When I bought the system originally, didn't seem that Lenovo offered Blu-Ray as an option, and then looking at the web-site, it now seems still prohibitively expensive:

(and anyhow, the W510 is not listed as supported, so this is probably slimmer than the enhanced ultra-bay on the W510)
The DVD writer that I did get with the unit is from Hitachi LG Data Storage, kind of looks like they're current Blu-Ray rewriter is:

which does look at least like the right form-factor, bezel is a bit different, and it's missing the rear post (although it looks like there's screw holes in approximately the right place to move over from the DVD drive), but it's 12.7 mm high, and SATA connections look about right. Problem is, this appears to be a hard drive to find.
Anyone chase down how to do this all properly?
