Lenovo SSD on new W520 427639U?

I may be about to place an order for a W520 427639U with a Lenovo 256GB SSD. Fully tricked out with fastest CPU, GPU, 8GB RAM, etc.

I've read about some SSD issues in this and other forums. Any comments on the SSD that comes from Lenovo? Is it a Hitachi, an Intel or what?

I'm a little concerned about the bloatware comments...I don't have the time or inclination right now to do a fresh Win7 install.

Thanks!

If you get the 256GB drive it'll most likely be a Samsung or Toshiba.

You could just uninstall anything you won't use.

If you want the fastest SSD, go with the stock 320 GB hard drive and grab an OCZ Vertex 3 MAX IOPS 240 GB drive after the fact.

Then, you don't have to be worried about bloatware (if you don't have a Windows 7 disk you can find a legal link to get one somewhere on this forum (the location eludes me)) since you're installing only what you need to.

That should be around twice as fast as anything Lenovo's going to put in there (Samsung 470-series, Intel 320 (510 also), or any Toshiba drive).
