SSD and HDD?

can a Intel 320 160GB Ssd and 500 GB HDD be inside the w520 at the same time?

Yes, if you remove the optical drive and use the modular caddy for the second drive. If that doesn't sound appealing, you can go the msata route if you don't mind losing WWAN.
