Est. Ship Date is gone.

Order the W520 on 8/2/11. The est. ship date was 8/12. But today, when I checked the web site reporting the order status, the est. ship date is not there anymore. What does this mean? Has this happened to anyone here?

Could be it has already shipped. I ordered my W520 on 8/1 and the estimated ship date was 8/15 but it actually shipped on 8/6 and is scheduled to arrive today. Both of my previous new Thinkpads from Lenovo also arrived before their estimated ship dates.

Yes, just received an email notification that my order has just shipped. Hopefully I will get it within next week.

That's an improvement in their process, then. Back when I ordered, they bumped my estimated ship date out another week just before they actually did ship the thing.

It is in KY now, seems that it will be delivered on Monday, thank God. Really hope it won't get stuck in Custom.

My shipment has been held up in Custom for 2 days so far and no sign to be released. The scheduled delivery date is today, I don't think that is going to happen.

Sorry to hear that; mine arrived on the 11th (attempted anyway; I had to have it held at the UPS depot so I could pick it up Friday).

It arrived yesterday. Stayed in Custom for 2 days but finally moved forward.

Have used it for half a day, it works as expected, no surprises. I think I will be satisfied for at least next 2 years.
