W520 and wifi problems, unable to connect, loses connection

Hello,
Me and a coworker have two identical W520 machines and both are experiencing exactly the same wifi problems: unable to connect or dropped connections where the status of the connection seems fine, but the computer won't get a DHCP ip address or be able to connect to the internet. Every other machine connecting via wifi or LAN in the office is fine with the router (router is a Dlink DIR 655 http://www.dlink.com/DIR-655 running the latest firmware).
Wireless was working fine for about 2 months on both machines, and sometime late last week or early this week, the problems started.
Both computers are running windows 7 64 bit pro. I have gone through the usual things, updated all the lenovo software using system update, all the latest windows. I noticed lenovo released a big driver update recently which has not fixed the issue.
Anyone seen behaviour like this or know what is going on?
Cheers,
Edit: I will add that the computers have this wireless hardware:
- Intel(R) Centrino(R) Ultimate-N 6300 AGN
- Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter
Both of which appear in the device manager and appear to be working fine from that regard.
Cheers,
Reso
